Björn Asp Lundqvist

Björn is a Swedish actor based in Stockholm, Sweden. He began his acting career in the Philippines, where he studied acting from 2012 to 2014. Shortly following this period, he appeared in the feature film Tilt, shot in Manila, playing the leading role. After returning to Sweden, he worked in television and appeared in several series, most notably Dystopia for Viaplay. Alongside his theatrical work, he has continued to develop his practice as a film actor, working in parallel across stage and screen. He went on to further his theatrical training through a preparatory college education acting program, deepening his focus on stage performance. Since then, he has performed extensively on stages across Sweden. In 2025, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Acting from the Stockholm University of the Arts. He is a classically trained Shakespearean actor and has worked at the Shakespeare Factory in Vadstena, Sweden, for three consecutive summers beginning in 2023. His stage work combines classical technique with contemporary sensibility and movement. Currently, he is engaged on a contract with Folkteatern Gävleborg in Gävle, Sweden where he appears in the production of The Threepenny Opera.
