Momen Elsawy

Momen Elsawy is a Dutch actor of Egyptian origin, based in Amsterdam, with over 14 years of experience across theatre and screen.

He began his career on stage, where he developed a strong foundation in character work, comedy, and physical performance.

Since relocating to the Netherlands, Momen has continued to refine his craft through Meisner training, improvisation, physical theatre, and on-camera acting. He has appeared in several theatre productions with Playhouse Theatre and In Players, including lead roles in The Odd Couple and The Surprise Guest. In 2026, he will appear in the feature film Little Holland.
Known for his natural comedic instincts and grounded performances, Momen brings authenticity and versatility to his work. In addition to acting, he is a skilled baritone and actor-singer. Fluent in Arabic and English, and working professionally in Dutch, he continues to build his career across stage and screen.
